Engraving will be painted white with darker stain options (black stain, dark walnut and light walnut) and no color with natural.
Sign can be signed with white/silver/black permanent marker. Dark stains will not show black well.
Engraved section is done with a CNC machine and will not be a clean burn.
*Signs do not come with hooks attached as it would make it hard for guests to sign. You will receive a bag with a hook and nails to attach after your event if you wish. * We do include a test piece for your choice of marker.
**Please note, a writing pen is NOT included, but we recommend using a fine-tip, oil-based white Sharpie (also called a “paint pen”), or a liquid white chalk marker for guests to sign with.
For a more subtle look, you can use a gold Sharpie.
For a more metallic look, you can use a silver Sharpie.
For a more classic look, you can use a black Sharpie.
• Please note that wood has natural imperfections such as knots, dents and cracks which make each sign unique and different.
COLOR: wood stain with raised 3D laser cut black or white lettering (PLEASE NOTE: we use the same wood stain on all of the guestbooks, but colors may appear to vary in the review pictures due to different lighting and editing of the photos)

Size is approximately 1/2" thick Baltic birch plywood and approximate dimensions are listed. Each sign is hand-crafted from a unique piece of wood and will vary from the picture shown above. Dimensions can vary up to +/- 1" as we do our best to minimize waste in our shop. There may be knots, chips, cracks, holes and other imperfections - all of which add to the rustic and handmade nature of the sign :)
